In exploring the layers of the self, we can come to a deeper understanding of our inner workings and motivations, and in turn, make choices that align with our true selves. The verse encourages us to strive towards self-improvement and growth, recognizing that our inner state has a profound impact on the quality of our lives and the lives of those around us.
The Concept
The self has always fascinated me, and I have always been intrigued by the many layers that make up an individual's identity. "The Self," my thesis project, is an exploration of these layers and their relationship to our understanding of ourselves. Through building blocks, I provide a tangible representation of these layers that individuals can engage with to deepen their understanding of the self.
I believe that the self is multidimensional, encompassing various layers such as physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual's being. Each layer contributes to the formation of our sense of self and plays a unique role in shaping our perception of the world. This is why I chose to create building blocks that represent each of these layers, providing a unique and creative way to engage with the concept of the self.
One of the primary goals of my project is to promote self-awareness and self-discovery. I believe that by reflecting on the layers of the self and the unique role they play in shaping our identities, individuals can gain a greater sense of self-acceptance and appreciation. Through the process of building and playing with the blocks, individuals can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world.
I am excited to share my project with others and offer an innovative approach to exploring the concept of the self. The elusive self, a mystery yet to be uncovered, an enigma waiting to be unravelled. For those who find themselves lost in the midst of confusion, unable to find their place in the world, my thesis project serves as a guiding light.
